''Barygenys parvula'' is a species of frog in the Microhylidae family. It is endemic to Papua New Guinea, known from two localities in the Adelbert Mountains. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forest. The population is unknown but is considered common. It is not considered to be significantly threatened by habitat loss, despite human settlement and forest loss, because this is an adaptable species. ==Sources== * Richards, S., Zweifel, R. & Menzies, J. 2004.
